• Earn College Credit While in High School 

    Dual Enrollment gives high school juniors and seniors the opportunity to take college courses and earn credit before graduation. It’s a great way to challenge yourself academically while exploring your future goals.

    Eligibility Requirements 

    • Students must meet minimum qualifying scores on the PSAT/SAT (or other approved assessments). Click here for Qualifying Score Chart
    •  Meet any course-specific prerequisites required by the college

    How to Apply 

    Step 1: Review Program Information (First-Time Students Only) 

    Review the WCS Dual Enrollment guidelines and expectations:

    Step 2: Submit Test Scores 

    Obtain your qualifying PSAT/SAT scores from: 
    👉 College Board PSAT/SAT Scores 

    Step 3: Choose Courses 

    Visit the Macomb Community College website and explore the course catalog. MCC Course Section Search 

    When selecting courses: 

      • Choose classes aligned with your career or academic goals
      •  Ensure the course is not offered at your high school
      • Select times that fit your schedule (preferably outside the regular school day)  

    Helpful Tip: 
    Plan ahead by identifying courses for both semesters: 

    • Fall 2026 (Semester 1)  

    • Winter 2027 (Semester 2)  

    Step 4: Complete District Application 

    Submit the WCS Dual Enrollment Application and Request Worksheet (CHS): WCS DE Step 2 - Application

      • This form is completed and submitted online  
      • It must be finished in one session once opened  

    Step 5: Apply to Macomb (First-Time Students Only) 

    Complete the Macomb Community College Application:

    Important Tips: 

      • Have your Social Security Number and ID ready 
      • Use a personal (non-school) email address
      • Select: “Early Admit/Dual Enrollment High School Student” under enrollment type 

    After You’re Approved 

    ✔ Check Your Email 

    • Confirmation of application 

    • Macomb ID number 

    ✔ Complete Requirements 

    • New Student Orientation 

    • “Starting at Macomb” Session 

    • Placement Testing (if required) 

    ✔ Activate Your Account 

    • Set up My Macomb 

    • Register for approved classes
